Who is eligible

Who is eligible

  • Edu1st.TBE Organization members
  • Any Educational Entity that has legal authority to operate and be able to respond in each of the following areas:
    • Philosophy and Objectives: Each preschool must have a clear statement of Philosophy and Objectives of the academic program and development of their students.
    • Curriculum: Each preschool will have a curriculum consistent with their philosophy and objectives. This will be designed to effectively meet the needs of the enrolled students. The curriculum offered will be organized in sequence and with planning guides for each grade level.
    • Facilities and equipment: The school facilities and equipment are suitable for the purpose of the preschool. Present evidence in accordance with local building codes for health, welfare and safety of students.
    • Faculty and staff: Professional staff should meet the criteria pre-established by Edu1st. Accreditation. The criteria should be based on degree requirements and / or professional certification.
    • Transfer of Records / Student Data: The standards will ensure the maintenance and care of accurate records of each student. The records indicate the work covered by the students.
    • Financial records and accounting: The resources and financial management of the preschool shall demonstrate the sustainability of the educational program, consistent with its philosophy and objectives. Evidence of financial stability should be prepared annually through financial statements that must be available for review during the accreditation assessment
    • Health and Safety: All pre-school will comply with all state laws and regulations relating to the protection, safety, sanitation and health. The school will provide and maintain evidence of required procedures of emergency and evacuation drills. Preschool buildings must comply with local building codes, zoning and fire.
    • Non-discrimination Policy: All preschool s should publish statements of non-discrimination (in writing), indicating that they do not discriminate on race, color, religion, national origin or ethnicity.
    • State Laws and Regulations: The accreditation standards require that each preschool complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the state.
    • The school will be under the control of a board of directors, duly authorized by its charter and in compliance with all legal requirements of the state.
    • Administered by a senior manager designated for the preschool.
    • Has been in operation for a minimum of one (1) year.
    • Must annually send representatives to at least one national or international conference.
